Work
Responsibilities: Employee is responsible for
assessing mental
health/co-occurring disorder needs of consumers seeking services,
developing
and implementing appropriate treatment plans, which include measurable
objectives stated in behavioral terms; providing effective brief and
solution-focused individual, marital, group or family therapy for
children and
adults; and preparing discharge plans. Maintain accurate and timely
documentation including progress notes and outcome tools. Employee
performs
crisis and intake screening via telephone or face-to-face for persons
as
necessary to determine level of need and immediacy. Become
knowledgeable of,
and be able to effectively communicate with related community service
organizations. Average caseload for a
full-time therapist is 60 consumers.
Outpatient and outreach therapists will be expected to average
52% of
work hours in direct face-to-face consumer contact.
Work
Responsibilities: Position involves planning,
executing,
and documenting a variety of activities designed to improve the
functioning of
adult consumers in an 18-bed residential Crisis Stabilization Unit
and/or
15-bed Recovery Center operated by a community mental health center.
Employee
must be able to interact appropriately with consumers (one-on-one and
in
groups), assist in patient care management, keep accurate and complete
documentation, remain composed in crisis situations, and maintain
strict
consumer confidentiality, etc. Employee must be physically
able and willing to participate
in TEAM activities, assist consumers physically as needed, serve food
and snacks,
and perform various housekeeping chores.
Employee must be able to provide direct consumer care, including
accurate collection and recording of vital signs. Employee
must
be willing and able to conduct
group activities that include substance abuse education, life skills
training,
and engage consumers in daily activities, communication and
recreational
activities.

Work
Responsibilities: Housekeeping: Employee
is responsible for housekeeping duties on the residential units.
Responsibilities include deep cleaning and upkeep of bathrooms both
staff and
consumer. Employee will also be responsible for cleaning the facilities
at CSU
and recovery center on a daily basis. Employee may also be called upon
to
assist with emergency preparedness.
Security: Employee
ensures the security of the administrative building after normal hours
of
business. Employee will display recognition of and repair of emergency
maintenance needs. Employee will limit the consumers in the
administration
building from unsupervised wandering through the hallways and will
ensure that
all staff are out of the building before securing same for the evening.
Employee may be called upon to assist with security checks on the
residential
units.
Minimum Requirements:
FL LPN License, prefer min.
two years’ experience; prefer experience working in a behavioral
health/substance abuse environment; knowledge of recovery is an asset.
Must have good computer skills in order to enter and retrieve
information in an electronic medical record. Candidate must demonstrate
excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to
positively communicate with consumers, clinical team members,
caregivers and community representatives. Excellent clinical assessment
and documentation skills required to ensure accurate progress notes and
treatment plans. Strict consumer confidentiality is required.
Work
Responsibilities: Does physical
examinations under the review of an RN; Provides nursing care;
discusses medical changes with the consumer; performs blood pressure
checks; gives injections; provides medication and diagnosis-related
information to consumers and answers questions as appropriate; takes
calls from consumers and insures that consumers are provided with
proper information, appointments, and/or prescription refills; reviews
consumer’s medical charts and transcribes and/or prepares prescription
documents for doctor’s or ARNP’s review and signature; maintains
comprehensive and timely documentation. LPNs provide work direction to
MHTs.

- CSU:
Crisis

Work Responsibilities: Provide crisis intervention services while responding to Baker Act Emergencies 24/7. Work in close coordination with the Sheriff’s office personnel and CBHC Crisis Unit. Performs mental status exams, provides support and intervention in the community and at the CSU; may assist with treatment and discharge planning, audits charts, and maintains/audits required internal/external documentation.
Registered Nurses:
Full Time (Accepting Full-Time Applications but no current
openings) Part-Time and Part-Time/On Call (PRN) for
all shifts; prefer
night and/or weekend availability; some holidays
Requirements: Licensed Florida RN. Min.
two years’ experience in residential mental health services and Crisis
Unit. Qualified in ACT, use of seclusion and restraints, and suicide
precaution measures.
Work Responsibilities: Provides medical
care in response to physician’s orders and treatment plan. Provide full
range of RN services in the CSU and give work direction. Assesses,
medically and behaviorally, consumers. Understands and executes
admissions, treatment, and discharge orders pursuant to the Baker Act.
Provides medical- or behavioral-based information to consumers.

preparation of meals for consumers. Prepares equipment, dishes or
tables for the meals. Assists in cleanup of dining room – and cleans
equipment and wet mops floor in dining room and kitchen. Prepares all
dishes and utensils for cleaning. Dishwasher. Stores usable leftover
food.
Cook(s) PT Cooks needed, Must work flexible shifts, i.e., 5:30am-1:30 pm, 11:00 am-7:00pm M-F or weekends. (positions on hold)
Requirements: Prefer 2 years experience in restaurant/institutional setting; knowledge of state foodservice regulations. Food Handlers Certification a plus. Exp. with food preparation.
Work Responsibilities: Prepares meals and
snacks for mental health consumers. Prepares dishes in accordance with
dietary requirements. Cleans and maintains all equipment and food
service areas as outlined in dietary cleaning schedule. Ensures all
usable leftovers are covered, labeled, dated and stored in their proper
place. .
